What’s included

Every band includes

More than a band: the whole system behind it, free for the life of the band.

  • A phone showing a guided first-aid step to give the adrenaline device, with a second-dose timer and a call 000 button

    Allergy Response

Most medical IDs show what a child is allergic to. If a reaction starts, Allergy Response walks the helper through what to do about it, one clear step at a time.

  • A phone held over a Space band, opening a profile that shows a peanut allergy, an EpiPen Jr and who to call first

    Tap to open

Any NFC phone opens their profile in a moment. There’s no app to download and nothing to log in to.

  • Email alerts saying a profile was opened and a mild to moderate reaction was reported

    Email alerts

When someone opens their profile, reports a reaction or taps a lost band, we email you with the time and a rough location.

  • Free online medical profile

For the life of the band. No subscription and no renewals, ever.
  • Free tracked shipping

Anywhere in Australia, dispatched within 4 business days.
  • 30-day returns

Changed your mind? Send back unworn bands.

What a helper sees

Everything a helper needs. Nothing they don’t.

A teacher, a coach or a stranger at the park sees exactly what you’ve chosen to share, in the order they need it.

  1. 1Who they areTheir photo, age and blood group, so a helper knows they have the right child.
  2. 2Allergies, by severityLife-threatening first, each with your own instructions.
  3. 3Adrenaline, and where it isEach device with a photo and the spot it’s kept.
  4. 4Medications and plansEmergency medicines flagged, with photos, and the action plan their doctor signed.
  5. 5Who to callTap-to-call contacts in the order you choose, and 000.
  6. 6Step-by-step help in a reactionAllergy Response walks them through anaphylaxis first aid.

The difference

Most IDs show information. TapCare helps.

Information-only medical ID compared with a TapCare band
FeatureInfo-only IDTapCare
Shows their allergies and who to call
Walks a helper through anaphylaxis, step by step
Shows where their adrenaline is kept, with photos
Emails you when their profile is opened
Reminds you before medication expires
Logs every tap, and what the helper did
Switch off a lost band instantly
Free online profile, no subscription

One honest difference: an engraved ID can be read without a phone. TapCare needs an NFC phone and an internet connection to open the profile.

How it works

Your simplest path to
peace of mind.

  1. The TapCare pouch with a Space band and a Unicorn band01

    Choose their band

Space or Unicorn, soft silicone and nothing to charge. It arrives ready to link.

  2. 02

    Set up their free profile

Add allergies, medications, contacts and their action plan. It takes a few minutes.

  3. A phone held to a Unicorn band on a school backpack03

    Anyone can tap

A teacher, coach or stranger holds their phone to the band. No app, no login.

Good for families

Buying for more than one?

Each band opens one child’s profile at a time, and every child can have more than one band: one for school, one for the weekend bag.

  • Siblings

Add each child to the same account. Their bands, contacts and tap history live side by side.
  • Spares and grandparents

Extra bands can open the same profile, so a spare in the nappy bag works just like the one on their wrist.
  • Linking is done for you

If you have one profile when we ship, your bands arrive linked to it. Otherwise, choose a profile in your dashboard; there are no codes to type.
  • Hand-me-downs

Move a band to another child’s profile from your dashboard whenever you like.

FAQs

Questions about
the band.

Each band fits wrists from 10 cm to 15.5 cm, with an adjustable snap and a row of sizing holes. That range generally fits children from infancy to around 8–10 years old, but every child is different, so measure their wrist if you’re unsure. It should sit snugly with room to slide a finger underneath, and it shouldn’t slip over their hand. Check the fit every few months as they grow.
