TapCare bands work with smartphones that have NFC, which includes most phones made in the last several years.
- iPhone: iPhone XS and newer read the band straight from the lock screen or home screen. No settings to change.
- Android: most Android phones with NFC read the band when NFC is switched on. It’s usually on by default; look for NFC in quick settings if not.
The profile opens in the phone’s web browser and needs a mobile or Wi-Fi connection to load. Nothing needs to be installed, and the helper doesn’t need an account.
