Adrenaline devices, expiry dates and used devices

Help a helper find a working device, every time.

Add each adrenaline device under Medications and switch on Emergency medication. For each one you can add:

  • its name and strength, such as EpiPen Jr 150 mcg
  • how to use it
  • where to find it, with a photo of the device and a photo of where it’s kept
  • its expiry date

Your dashboard flags any device that expires within 30 days, or has expired, and we email you a reminder 4 weeks, 2 weeks and 1 day before it expires, then again the day after. If a helper reports giving adrenaline, the report is shown on that device until you review it. Once you have a replacement, open the device and choose Mark replaced.

Used or expired devices are never hidden from a helper. They’re listed with a warning, so a working device is always suggested first.
