Allergy Response is the button at the top of every profile. If a reaction starts, it guides the helper one step at a time:
- Recognise the symptoms
- Lay your child down, or sit them up if breathing is hard
- Find an adrenaline device, using your photos
- Give it, with step-by-step instructions for that device
- Call 000
- Call you and your other contacts
- Watch the five-minute timer for a possible second dose, then hand over to paramedics
The steps follow the order of the ASCIA First Aid Plan for Anaphylaxis. Allergy Response is general guidance only: it never replaces your child’s own action plan or the advice of emergency services.
When a helper reports mild/moderate or severe symptoms, the profile owner gets an assessment email, once per visit. These emails are on by default. Opening Allergy Response alone doesn’t send one, and the email describes the helper’s report rather than a diagnosis.
