Allergy Response has step-by-step instructions for each of these adrenaline devices:
- EpiPen
- EpiPen Jr
- Anapen
- Jext
- Jext Jr
- neffy 1 mg
- neffy 2 mg
neffy is an adrenaline nasal spray. The others are auto-injectors.
Add each of your child’s devices to their profile, with a photo of where it’s kept (see Adrenaline devices, expiry dates and used devices). When a helper opens Allergy Response, it shows your child’s devices, with a working one suggested first, then the steps for the device they choose. If no device is on the profile, the helper picks the one in their hand.
Use the device your child’s doctor prescribed, and follow their ASCIA Action Plan. In an emergency, always call 000.
