Start with these checks:
- Check the switches. Open Account → Email alerts. All email alerts are on by default, but you may have switched one off. Save any changes.
- Check the recipient. Alerts go to the profile owner’s account email, shown on that settings page. They don’t go to the profile’s emergency contacts.
- Check how you tested. Dashboard previews don’t send alerts. A tap while signed in as the profile owner is recorded in Activity but doesn’t send an alert. A lost band needs to be linked to a profile for an owner alert.
- Check what happened. Opening Allergy Response alone doesn’t send an assessment email. The helper must report mild/moderate or severe symptoms, and only the first report in a visit sends one.
- Check whether it was a repeat. We send at most one profile-open or assessment email every 30 minutes for each band, and one lost-band email every 10 minutes for each band.
- Check the daily limit. We send at most 12 alert emails a day for each account.
- Check the timing. If an alert can’t be queued within 2 hours of the visit, we don’t send it, and none is delivered more than 6 hours after the visit. Look in spam or junk too, as email can be delayed.
Open Activity to check the recorded visit even if no email arrived. See Profile and band email alerts for the full behaviour.
Waiting on a medication expiry reminder? See Medication expiry reminders for when they’re sent and when they stop.
Still missing an expected alert? Email support@tapcare.com.au from your account address with the band label and approximate event time. Please don’t send medical documents or the band’s link.
In an emergency, call 000. Don’t wait for email or a support reply.
